The Book of Psalms

In our series on Psalms we plan to highlight some individual Psalms and prepare believers to read and understand this book, and apply it to their lives.  This study will recognize the difference in administration between the Psalmist and the Church age believer.

How to Study the Bible Elective

Vern Peterman, and elder from Holly Hills Bible Church, graciously has been joining us every few months to teach a continuing elective on “How to Study the Bible.”  This study has been immensely powerful as we look at the process by which we behold the Lord through his word and are transformed from glory to glory.  In this study we have been exploring the major processes or Observation, Interpretation, Application and Appropriation.  The Observation consisting of making observations about the Language, History and Culture surrounding the given text, leading to a singular interpretation which must be applied and then appropriated by the believer.
